Altair rises above the rain soaked piers of Lakes Entrance, East Gippsland, Victoria on 21 March 2016. Standing here in the half-light, waiting for the fishing boats to return, there is the smell of wet timber and the sea, and the extravagent sensory panorama of the approaching dawn.
