Winter on the Shoreline 3

Blenheim Beach, Jervis Bay.

Over time, from here … I will show you the passage of seasons, the rising and setting of the sun, the arching milky way, and the ever changing mood of the ocean as it caresses the white sands of these shores.

“It is said by the Eldar that in water there lives yet the echo of the Music of the Ainur more than in any substance that is in this Earth; and many of the Children of Ilúvatar hearken still unsated to the voices of the Sea, and yet know not for what they listen.”

J.R.R Tolkien, The Silmarillion

    1. Thanks Marty … The escarpment is Point Perpendicular. I went out today and shot a close up with the 200mm … Not a great image but it shows the cliffs and the Lighthouse at the end of the point. It’s a great place at the end of a rutted dirt road with superb ocean views. This is the Flickr link
