New York – Reflections 2

Christmas in New York – 2011

The only credential the city asked was the boldness to dream. For those who did, it unlocked its gates and its treasures, not caring who they were or where they came from.

I really believe I was happier when I slept on a park bench in Central Park than during all the years of the “Perfect Lover” stuff

    1. Thanks Marty … I wish that I had really spent more serious time getting to some places in NYC especially early in the day. Everything was rushed and being Christmas it was difficult to wander around without a massive crowd – except for a few quiet corners of Central Park. 2011 was the warm winter as you know and I can only imagine how these same images would look if made in these past few months. 1. You’ll just have to come back. But a winter like this needs attention to photographing in near arctic conditions . The temp at the Jersey Shore was lower than I’ve ever seen there yesterday: -1 F, reaching a wind chill of -26 F at one point. We’re currently running away again to S. Florida, with our dog, of course. M
