Serenity

He climbed cathedral mountains, he saw silver clouds below,
saw everything as far as you can see.
And they say that he got crazy once and that he
tried to touch the sun,
and he lost a friend, but kept the memory.
Now he walks in quiet solitude, the forest and the stream,
seeking grace in every step he takes,
his sight is turned inside himself, to try and
understand, the serenity of a clear blue mountain lake.

  1. Your words are beautifully strung. Your image is a beautiful blend of all things serene.
I am curious, I hope you don’t mind me asking…Is there a special trick to getting those incredible sun rays to look like that. I love taking photographs into the sun and I have seen other images with these kind of rays but I have never found my camera to capture them this way. Is it the lens? A technique? great luck? Post processing enhancement? In any case, they are incredible. Lovely submission!
