Paris Gardens

This week's Travel Theme is GARDEN

The Tuileries Garden (Jardin des Tuileries) is a public garden located between the Louvre Museum and the Place de la Concorde in the 1st arrondissement of Paris.

The gardens of the Champ de Mars lie at the foot of the Eiffel Tower between the Ecole Militaire and the River Seine.

Imaged in the cold Spring of 2013. There were some forlorn flowers around but the sullen skies favoured the green avenues of trees and sandy gravel underfoot.

  1. Paris has some lovely public gardens for a major city. It is a delight to wander through them at any time of the year, though spring is perfect.
