The Great Nebula in Carina – Wide Field
Another 4am morning (or very late night) session under the cold clear sky ….
A wide field image taken through the Canon 24-104mmL @ f/4. A stacked image from 14 light frames @ 25 seconds and 14 dark frames @ 25 seconds. ISO 1600.
As mentioned in a previous post (Racing the Dawn) … The Carina Nebula is found in the constellation of Carina in the Carina-Sagittarius Arm of the Milky Way.
Below the nebula lies the Open Cluster NGC 3532, and to the right of frame the prominent cluster IC 2602 Southern Pleiades.
